Standing on the Cornerstone

When we are hurting or struggling, we can be blinded to things we otherwise might realize. Hardship can lead us not to see God's goodness. Despite our pain, Scripture tells us that God shows us his goodness. In James 1:12-18, we are reminded of ways that our God is a good God.

Every one of us struggles and hurts in life. Whether it's financial, emotional, mental, physical, or spiritual, hardship and pain seem inevitable. When we hurt, it can become easy to be blinded by the pain and lose faith in God. In James 1:1-11, we're instructed to see our struggles through the lens of faith. We're also given direction on how to do this.
