Jesus’ Authority Demonstrated | Luke 4:31-44
Through his teaching and two miracles, Jesus demonstrated to all that he himself has authority over evil, life, and his mission. Unlike others, Jesus did not need to rely on the expertise of others or cite quality sources. Rather, Jesus demonstrated that he is authoritative over demons and evil things, over life and death, and over his mission and the mission of his church.
